Dr. Markus Nordberg is the Head of Resources Development of the Development and Innovation Unit (IPT-DI) at CERN, Switzerland. In addition to coordinating multi-disciplinary innovation projects at IdeaSquare at CERN, he also coordinates the EC-funded 20 M€ sensor and imaging R&D&I initiative called ATTRACT aiming at both scientific and societal impact of disruptive co-innovation. Prior to this function, he served 12 years as the Resources Coordinator of the ATLAS project at CERN. He has also served as Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the Centrum voor Bedrijfseconomie, Faculty ESP-Solvay Business School, University of Brussels, and as a member of the Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society and the Association of Finnish Parliament Members and Scientists, TUTKAS. He has a degree both in Physics and in Business Administration.

Jokin is responsible for keeping CAF Group at the forefront of sustainable mobility solutions. He initiates new business opportunities and collaborates with top startups to bring innovations to the company. Jokin launched the CAF Startup Station and held various responsibilities within the CAF Group, including Deputy General Manager at CAF Power & Automation and General Manager at Traintic. Jokin holds a degree in Industrial Engineering, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Sciences, and an MBA. Roberto holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Pública de Navarra and a Master’s Degree in the Energy Business from Club Español de la Energía. He has also completed the Energizing Leadership Program by ESADE and other Finance and Venture Capital programs at IE Business School. Roberto began his career as innovation management consultant and joined Iberdrola´s innovation team in 2007. Since 2016, he has served as Head of Innovation at Iberdrola España. He leads Iberdrola’s Next Generation EU Office, which promotes projects for green and digital transformation in Spain, and collaborates with Iberdrola´s partners, suppliers, universities and startups.

Enthusiastic executive with more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector focused on tangible results. She currently devotes her interest and commitment as Chief Technology & Innovation Officer at Redeia (former Grupo Red Electrica), the Spanish Electricity transportation & operation system company, focusing on value creation by adopting new technologies and innovative models, accelerating and benefiting digitalisation and energy transition, sustainability and efficiency. She oversees ELEWIT, the technology platform of Redeia that focuses on scanning and leveraging current and future innovation and trends aligned with the company’s long-term objectives by nurturing and scaling a broad portfolio of new
cutting-edge and state-of-the-art companies. Likewise, she is a member of the Board of Directors of HISPASAT, the Spanish satellite communications operator, and leader in the distribution of content in Spanish and Portuguese; also, she is a member of Redeia’s Executive Committee, Purchasing Committee and Sustainability Committee.
