Participants of WOIC 2021 may be filmed or photographed. By registering for the conference you agree that these videos and photographs may be used for promotion and reporting purposes of the conference and related activities by the WOIC team, and that they may be published on the WOIC website, social media channels, newsletters, or other channels supported by WOIC. Your payment with bank or creditcard will take place in a secure payment environment. The amount of your purchase will be charged directly when you buy your ticket and you will receive confirmation of your payment.

Refund policy

The WOIC organizing team adopts a no refund policy.

Privacy Statement

In this privacy statement we provide clear and transparent information about how we use (personal) data and data processing. We do everything we can to guarantee your privacy.

Your personal data

By registering for this conference, you (the participant) agree that your personal data will be processed for registration and handling purposes, as well as to send you information in connection with the conference. All (personal) data will only be used in accordance with current EU data protection legislation (GDPR) and will not be disclosed to a third party without the participants explicit permission. Dietary requirements will be communicated to the location and/or catering company.

The WOIC organizing team processes your (personal) data by you providing this data to us by completing the registration form.

Why do we process your personal data?

We ask for your (personal) data to facilitate registration, participation, payment and to inform you by email if this is necessary to be able to perform our services.

For processing the credit card and Ideal payment we use Worldline application.

For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data?

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

We use the information that you enter on the registration page of a conference/event to realize the preparation, execution, and handling of the activity as good as possible and tailored to your personal needs.

Your name (first and last name) and affiliation will be mentioned on your badge and registration list.

How long will we store your personal data?

The WOIC organizing team does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the goals (preparation, implementation and treatment tailored to your personal needs) for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods:

• According to the law, financial documents and underlying documents must be kept as burden of proof for 7
• All other data will be stored up to 2 years after the conference.

Cookies

Technical Cookies are used to make the website function properly. They also remember your preferences such as login status. Technical cookies are essential for the website to work properly.
